Full disclosure: this will not be a true "R&R." Why? Because this was the first year in - I don't know how long - that I did NOT watch the Oscars live.
I know, what? How could I possibly do that? I consider Oscar Sunday a holiday! I must've had a good reason...
I like to think I did.

First and foremost, RIP Sir John Hurt (my War Doctor, my Great Dragon Kilgharrah, my Ollivander).
This week has been very busy for me. Work, interviews and events galore! But now that it's finally the weekend, I can take the time to talk about one of the two holidays I celebrate in February - Oscar Sunday! (The other one is Superbowl Sunday, in case you were curious. I guess I'm a Falcons fan this year. Boo Patriots.)
Happy New Year! I meant to post this yesterday, but the day got away from me.
Anyway, this is my first R&R (reactions & reviews). If you read my last blog post, you know that this is where I reveal the results of the friendly competition between my friends - all young women in the entertainment industry - and I. We all made our picks in regards to who we thought would win (or, in some cases, who we wanted to win). I have also included my reactions and commentary to the awards show.
Here are some thoughts I had and quotes I liked from the 74th Annual Golden Globes:

Award Show Season is upon us, and I wanted to do something fun to kick off my new blog, "MY ARTSENAL." The 2017 Golden Globe nominees were announced yesterday, so I asked some of my friends -- all young women in various entertainment and media fields -- to join me in a little friendly competition.
